The Team

Jon, Mark and myself all met whilst playing rugby at Old Patesians rugby club in Leckhampton. The rest is history, we have been working as a successful team ever since. We have had some new members over the years - and the team as it stands today is below.

Ian D Godwin - founded company in 1984

Ian took the plunge at an early age and started I.D.Godwin in his teens - he's been one of Cheltenham's leading plumbers ever since and has now got a superb team working with him to meet customers requirements and provide an exceptional level of service.

Mark Stinchcombe - Jan 2002 - Been on the team for 9 years.

Mark is the longest serving employee and joined the company in january 2002 after a lifetime in the engineering industry. He is gasafe registered and a plumber too. As a former engineer he is particulary adept at mending things rather than replacing them

Jon Steckbeck - Joined us in February 2003

Jon has been with us since February 2003 and is crossed between being a registered electrician, gas engineer and a plumber. With his broad band of skills he can usually remedy any situation.

Shane Winders - joined in August 2009

Shane joined in the summer of 2009 and began with the installation of 30 ensuite bathrooms for the royal agricultural college in cirencester.
He continues to be our main bathroom installer and lead plumber

Markos Ataou - joined in December 2009.

Our third year apprentice, Markos from Cyprus, has gained many friends with his gentle and polite nature. He is a thoughtful final year apprentice who always strives to do his best and is a very capable plumber.

Danny Goodhall - joined early in 2010 as a skilled labourer.
Danny is the newest member of the team and is employed as a skilled labourer. He is a particulary hard working chap and will take on virtually any labouring task asked of him.
